- ➤ Early Friday, Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to a 2‑alarm apartment fire near 13th and Washington that injured a firefighter and displaced five residents while a Red Cross team is assisting with relocation + the accidental cooking fire caused $160,000 in damage. KFOR
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ University of Nebraska-Lincoln workers are finishing renovations on the historic Mueller Tower, which is getting new limestone bricks (from the Salem deposit) and steel supports. The work started last May on campus and will finish in April. KOLN

- ➤ Lincoln police advise residents to limit outdoor time and use available safety resources as dangerously cold temperatures persist through the weekend.
