- ➤ On Saturday, dozens plunged into Holmes Lake at 23°F to support Special Olympics Nebraska by collecting pledged donations while sporting fun costumes and showing team spirit. KOLN
- ➤ St. John the Apostle Catholic Church is hosting its annual fish fry for Lent in Lincoln, with doors opening at 4:30 and volunteers beginning work early. The event, celebrated for 19 years, features fish, mac and cheese, fries and desserts for everyone. KOLN

- ➤ Dr. Robert Ballard’s new exhibit at the Kiewit Luminarium tells how his 1985 Cold War mission used a submarine hunt cover to locate Titanic. The exhibit runs through April 26 and shows science and history with artifacts (appealing to visitors aged 7 to 97). KOLN

- ➤ Pryce Sandfort scored a career-high 33 points in Nebraska’s win over Penn State on Saturday. He broke the single-season 3-point record as the Huskers improved to 23-4 at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln. KNOP
- ➤ The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) released district pairings for Class A girls basketball tournaments in Lincoln. Lincoln North Star is set as the top seed for the A-1 bracket and Lincoln Southwest leads A-7, with play-in games starting Tuesday, Feb. 24 and finals scheduled through Friday. KFOR
