Good morning, Lincoln.

Nebraska men’s basketball faces Iowa in the Sweet 16 on Thursday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. CT at the Toyota Center in Houston.

The teams split wins during the season, with Nebraska winning at home and Iowa taking their game in Iowa City.

Nebraska men’s basketball returned home on Sunday (after advancing to the Sweet 16 by defeating Vanderbilt) as hundreds of Husker fans welcomed the team at the Lincoln Airport before they headed to their training facility.

Husker fans visited Oklahoma City during the NCAA tournament recently, spending high costs on hotels + travel while filling Pinnacle Bank Arena and helping local business, with team commentator Kent Pavelka describing the event as a warm, emotional display of community spirit.

Local youth at Shoot 360 are inspired by Husker basketball’s Sweet 16 win Saturday as advanced training tools help 11-year-old Will Hunke and other players improve skills (recording a 16% average boost) while they set high goals for the future.
