- ➤ Lincoln Fire & Rescue responded on Sunday to a house fire in South Bottoms near Second and F streets after an electric bike’s lithium-ion battery exploded in the basement—firefighters cut a hole in the roof to ventilate the home, two people were displaced and damage was estimated at $50,000—while the health department disposed of multiple batteries. - ➤ On Sunday evening, officers searched west Lincoln after a man with slash wounds and a 32-year-old man were injured in separate stabbings and taken to the hospital—no arrests had been made by 10:35 p.m. KOLN
