- ➤ Three men pleaded no contest to felony assault charges for a gang-related shooting outside a downtown Lincoln bar that injured four men in October 2023 and they will face sentencing in May. Lincoln Journal Star
- ➤ An investigation found that Nebraska is exploring new domestic violence prevention methods such as protective orders, safe family courts, and transitional housing to help victims leave abusive situations. - ➤ Beginning Tuesday, April 1, Lincoln garbage collectors will separate grass and leaves from household trash as state law requires and charge a fee for the service. Residents who do not subscribe may hire a lawn service, mulch at home, or take yard waste (paper bags, 32-gallon or 95-gallon containers) to the North 48th Street Solid Waste Management Facility.
