- ➤ Pastor Kris Bohac leads four small churches in Lancaster and Saunders counties and trains lay leaders to hold services so the congregations stay active. She rotates the schedule and will support them as she prepares to retire next spring. KNOP
- ➤ Community members gathered at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Sunday for a pancake breakfast fundraiser to support the widow of Matthew Wing, a Concordia student-athlete killed in a car accident on March 13. - ➤ Most of Nebraska remains in severe drought as warm, windy weather fuels wildfire risk—UNL climatologist Curtis Riganti says conditions are persistent. Some rain is expected later this week, but the March 26 drought map shows a continued lack of precipitation and snow, which may reduce water flow from the Rockies. KOLN
