ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A driver crashed a car through a fence into a backyard near 84th Street and Elizabeth Drive just after 8 a.m. on Monday when the vehicle struck a Lincoln home and police are investigating the cause. KOLN
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Award-winning country singer Jordan Davis will make his Lincoln debut at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Oct. 9 as part of his Ain't Enough Road Tour that began in Palm Springs on Sept. 11—Mitchell Tenpenny and Vincent Mason will join him while tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Nebraska Now

- ➤ The Lincoln Police Department will enforce distracted driving rules in April to stop speeding and red light running — the move comes after 3,903 crashes involved inattentive driving last year. The project is funded by a grant from the Nebraska Office of Transportation Highway Safety Office. KOLN
- ➤ Moody's raised Nebraska's bond rating to AAA on Monday because the state showed a stable economy, conservative spending, low debit liability & financial flexibility. Governor Jim Pillen said the higher rating will lower future borrowing costs & improve the state's financial reputation. Nebraska Now
- ➤ Lancaster County Election Commissioner Todd Wiltgen announced polling place changes for eight precincts affecting 8,500 Lincoln voters in the upcoming primary and general elections, and mailed new location notices which will arrive in the next few days. Early voters in these precincts will receive the notice for informational purposes only (voters must use their updated polling place to vote). Nebraska Now

- ➤ CHI Health and CommonSpirit Health launched a Peer Support Program for physicians and advanced practice providers to help with burnout after the pandemic. The program offers virtual and in-person training for peer supporters and uses a blue badge symbol to mark those who give confidential help—protected by Nebraska law. KOLN
