- ➤ Gas prices in Lincoln increased by 12.1 cents per gallon to an average of $3.38 as of Monday from a GasBuddy survey (of 146 stations), yet they remain among the lowest in the nation. Lincoln Journal Star

- ➤ Parents in Lincoln may soon use NEST 529 accounts for trade schools and apprenticeships as well as four-year programs if a new bill passes today in the Legislature (it raises the withdrawal limit to $20,000 to align with federal guidelines) and expands qualifying uses starting January 2029. - ➤ No. 19 Nebraska baseball won an 8-6 series against Penn State on Sunday at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park to improve to 11-1 in Big Ten play. The Huskers host Kansas today with first pitch set for 6 p.m. on B1G+. KFOR
- ➤ Junior guard Pryce Sandfort will have surgery to treat a sports hernia and is expected to be ready for summer workouts, + Nebraska head coach Fred Hoiberg said after the season ended. KNOP

- ➤ Former Nebraska running back Tony Davis died Sunday after complications from Parkinson’s Disease. He starred for the Huskers in the 1970s and later played in the NFL, with services pending. KFOR
