- ➤ Police said a Lincoln man—Michael Anderson, 33—was arrested on Sunday night in the parking lot of Kong’s Liquor after bypassing an ignition interlock device on his red pickup truck; he now faces charges including felony DUI, driving while revoked, and tampering with the device with a court date set for May 13. - ➤ Governor Jim Pillen signed a letter of intent to the USDA on Monday asking that soda and energy drinks be removed from eligible SNAP purchases in Nebraska — he was joined by Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services leadership.
