- ➤ Lincoln police arrested 24-year-old Sarah Mangloack on Monday on first-degree assault charges after she attacked a man near downtown Lincoln on April 9th, and a witness video+ captured the fight that left him injured. Nebraska Now

- ➤ ZZ Top will play at Pinewood Bowl Theater in Lincoln on Sunday, Aug. 10 as part of The Elevation Tour this summer. - ➤ Tax returns for 2024 were due Tuesday, April 15, and many in Lincoln expect refunds with roughly 68 million refunds averaging $3000 issued so far. - ➤ Lincoln Police enforced a new Nuisance Vehicle Ordinance starting Tuesday that allows them to tow vehicles used in street racing & reckless driving after a March 31 City Council vote. First offenses result in a towing fee, while second offenses will hold the vehicle for 10 days in addition to fines up to $500. KFOR
- ➤ Residents in Lincoln are asked to vote on whether the Nuisance Vehicle Ordinance will curb street racing — the poll asks for views on its ability to stop reckless driving — and the results may shape future enforcement. Nebraska Now
