- ➤ Friendship Home will park a StarTran Bus for its 27th annual Stuff the Bus donation event this Saturday and Sunday at Walmart and Sam's Club around Lincoln. Volunteers distribute lists of needed items (toilet paper, bedding, cleaning supplies) to help stock the shelter. KOLN

- ➤ University of Nebraska–Lincoln honored 208 undergraduates admitted to teacher education programs at the third annual Teacher Education Convocation held on campus, recognizing the students' readiness to join the classroom. - ➤ The April Sampson Cancer Center hosted April’s Art and Garden Festival on Saturday where visitors shopped local art, painted, and arranged flowers to help cancer patients. Funds raised will support the program that honors April (who passed away in 2016). KOLN
