- ➤ A woman was shot while sitting on her couch when drive-by gunfire hit her home Tuesday night near 38th and Briarwood Avenue in southeast Lincoln—police said the suspect fled but was later arrested in Alvo and the woman had a non-life-threatening injury. KOLN
- ➤ Lincoln Police reported that on April 20 a couple shoplifted items from a Walmart near 84th and Fremont using a silver Oldsmobile Alero—while on March 31 three suspects burgled an apartment complex workshop near 46th and Old Cheney and stole over $4,300 in tools. KFOR
- ➤ Tony Pierce (50) appeared in Lancaster County Court where a judge found probable cause to try him for motor vehicle homicide after he rear-ended a patrol car on U.S. Highway 77 on April 12 that led to Officer Ross Bartlett’s death; his arraignment is set for May 21. Nebraska Now
