CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Lincoln's stadium will host a Zach Bryan concert that is expected to draw tens of thousands & boost local businesses as one of three major non-football revenue events planned this year. The event will attract fans and support continued economic growth in the community. Lincoln Journal Star
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Nebraska State Patrol will monitor for impaired driving at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, May 2 when country singer Zach Bryan performs; drivers are urged to ride sober and watch for pedestrians (the effort is partly funded by a grant from the state transportation office). KOLN

- ➤ Former Nebraska tight end Nate Boerkircher from Aurora was drafted 56th overall in the second round by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday, Apr. 25 after posting 198 yards and 3 touchdowns for Texas A&M. He also made an impact during his time with Nebraska. KNOP
