- ➤ Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to a garage fire in west Lincoln reported near Northwest Eighth Street and Lakeshore Drive at 11:17 a.m. on Saturday—damage occurred to the house and garage and no one was hurt, while the cause remains under investigation. KOLN

- ➤ Lincoln Fire & Rescue welcomed community members to the new Station 8 near South 17th street today with tours, hands only CPR demos, and activities for kids. The station features four apparatus bays and 12 crew bedrooms designed to speed up emergency response and improve firefighter safety — a modern space built for current challenges. KOLN

- ➤ The Nebraska volleyball team won a spring match against South Dakota State with scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-17 and 25-19 at Ord High School in front of a full crowd of 1,750 on Saturday afternoon.
