- ➤ Lincoln Transportation and Utilities announced that parts of two streets will close during the week of May 12 for repair work. Eastbound Adams Street between North 42nd and North 44th will close Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for utility work, and Park Boulevard will close Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.+Drivers are advised to use detours. - ➤ Families testified at public forums in La Vista, Omaha and Lincoln on May 3-5 to urge lawmakers to pass LB 677, a proposal that would clarify Nebraska’s voter-approved medical cannabis program and boost access for patients like 7-year-old Teddy Bronson who suffers from severe epilepsy.
