- ➤ On May 21, Standing Bear High School football players helped Arnold Elementary teacher Kathy Hansen by mowing her lawn, pulling weeds and planting flowers to ease her burden during cancer treatment. - ➤ On Saturday morning, Lincoln CrossFitters began the 'Murph' workout at Ironbourne Gym to honor fallen service members, with former Husker lineman Grant Wistrom leading the event. - ➤ Lincoln Crimestoppers are asking for help to identify a man who, along with two others, stole a Generac 3300 Watt Inverter and a six-tool combo kit worth $1,128 from a hardware store on April 24th; one suspect (37-year-old Danielle Christine Hill) was cited and another (44-year-old Boyd Boettger) was arrested as police request tips from anyone with information. - ➤ Micheal Hockman, a man from Waverly, pleaded guilty to attempting to leave the scene of a serious injury accident in north Lincoln that killed a pedestrian in 2024 — the conviction marks a key outcome of the case. Lincoln Journal Star
