- ➤ Lincoln Public Schools held the Extra Mile Walk in February, March, and April, raising $411,801—$211,801 from schools and $200,000 from Acklie Charitable Foundation—to support Food Bank of Lincoln programs that provide meals for families facing food insecurity. Fox Nebraska
- ➤ Food Bank of Lincoln led the 15th Give to Lincoln Day on May 29 by raising $497,000, ahead of CEDARS and Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach, with nearly 28,000 donations totaling about $10.7-million; participating nonprofits will share a $650,000 match fund from LCF (including West Gate Bank sponsorship).
