Lincoln Public Schools held the Extra Mile Walk in February, March, and April, raising $411,801—$211,801 from schools and $200,000 from Acklie Charitable Foundation—to support Food Bank of Lincoln programs that provide meals for families facing food insecurity.

Food Bank of Lincoln led the 15th Give to Lincoln Day on May 29 by raising $497,000, ahead of CEDARS and Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach, with nearly 28,000 donations totaling about $10.7-million; participating nonprofits will share a $650,000 match fund from LCF (including West Gate Bank sponsorship).
