- ➤ Lincoln Public Schools leaders dismissed a Harvard and Stanford study that found students lag more than one full grade level in math and reading since 2019, calling the report (fruit in a blender) in a recent statement. Lincoln Journal Star

- ➤ Nebraska's historic softball season ended on Sunday when the Huskers lost 3-1 to Texas at the Women’s College World Series after a three-run home run in the sixth inning shifted the game.
