- ➤ Lincoln Fire and Rescue said Molex Inc. — located off Highway 77 near Kingbird Road — suffered $70,000 in damages after an overheated compressor sparked a fire late Thursday night at 11:51 p.m., and the building's suppression system quickly controlled the flames while everyone evacuated safely. - ➤ A Lincoln man found an intruder in his North Bottoms home watching Netflix (The Residence) and forced him out when he reentered on May 25; police later arrested the 35-year-old transient and charged him with criminal trespass and mischief. Lincoln Journal Star
- ➤ A Lincoln man (20) faces 16 misdemeanor charges for protection order violations and four counts of witness tampering after he allegedly called family members to sway a victim’s testimony, and his bond is set at 10% of $250,000 with a hearing scheduled for July 7. KOLN

- ➤ Lincoln police arrested 42-year-old Ron Leafty after he crashed his car into a tree Thursday night at the intersection of North 60th and Platte Avenue while speeding and driving while intoxicated—he was charged with DUI causing serious bodily injury, driving during a license revocation, and resisting arrest, and although he suffered minor injuries, his passenger sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. - ➤ Lincoln Police arrested 30-year-old Kain Brandt on Thursday morning after he used a pocketknife to rob Fat Dog’s convenience store near NW 12th and West Adams—officials said the clerk was unharmed when he threw money at the suspect who then fled on foot. KFOR
