- ➤ Lincoln Police warn Nebraskans about a text scam where a sender poses as the DMV to issue a false final notice of license revocation for unpaid fines—recipients should forward such texts to the FTC at 7726 and report them to the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center before deleting the message. - ➤ Two people were hospitalized after a shooting in north Lincoln on Saturday—police are investigating the incident and the victims remain in serious condition. KOLN

- ➤ After a storm ended last year's event, organizers will host an uninterrupted Star City Pride next weekend. The festival will start on June 13 at Woods Park with free admission and live entertainment while a parade will begin on June 14 at 10 a.m. around the Capitol under the theme Love is a Riot.
