- ➤ On Wednesday, June 11, a 2017 Toyota Tacoma struck a pedestrian near 53rd Street and Normal Boulevard in southeast Lincoln, leaving the person in critical condition and causing a nearly seven-hour road closure while officers investigated the collision. KFOR

- ➤ Timothy Bowie, 42, was charged with first-degree assault and use of a deadly weapon after he stabbed a 43-year-old man during a robbery attempt at a southeast Lincoln business complex on Tuesday — a Lancaster County judge set his bond at $1 million with $100,000 to be paid for release. - ➤ After a domestic disturbance call just after 9 p.m. Tuesday near Waverly Elementary at 146th and Danvers, Lancaster County Sheriff’s deputies found 31-year-old Caleb Monico fleeing his Jeep and later hiding under a bush, and a search of the vehicle turned up a loaded handgun and suspected methamphetamine—he now faces felony charges for firearm possession by a felon, stalking with a firearm, and possession of drugs on school property. - ➤ Lincoln police arrested a California man for fraud after a 78-year-old victim received a phony email on June 3 that led him to exchange nearly $100,000 for gold from a local bullion dealer — officers later apprehended the suspect at the victim’s home, set his bond at 10% of $1,000,000, and scheduled his hearing for July 9. - ➤ A 55-year-old Lincoln man was arraigned Tuesday with a 10% bond for two counts of accessory to a felony after a shooting at a home near 26th and Potter on June 7 that left two people critically injured—police said they expect to arrest the suspected shooter soon as the investigation continues.
