Good morning, Lincoln.

Car lovers gathered outside Dillard’s at Gateway Mall on Saturday to enjoy the fourth annual Fashion on Wheels car show — a fundraiser for the Autism Family Network — as vintage rides like a 2004 Corvette were on display and supporters shared stories under the open sky.

The Firefighters beat the Savannah Bananas 3-2 Saturday night at Memorial Stadium before a sold-out crowd.

Former Nebraska quarterback Eric Crouch threw the first pitch and former coach Tom Osborne made a special appearance by coaching third base for an inning then taking a lap around the field.

Fans gathered at Scheels on Friday for a meet and greet with the Savannah Bananas — the local event allowed supporters to connect with the team before it moves on.
