As of July 1, Memorial Stadium now allows only concession sellers aged 18 or older due to a new contract with Aramark Sports—Entertainment that ends the practice of kids selling snacks at games.

A Lincoln man (68-year-old John Hansen) died on Sunday when his 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo sped on Highway 41 west of Road 19 in Fillmore County, veered off the road, rolled over, and left him fully ejected while responders from the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office and Geneva Fire and Rescue transported him to Fillmore County Hospital where he died (after immediate medical assistance was provided).
