- ➤ A 53-year-old man named Harold Campbell was arrested early Monday morning in a northeast Lincoln neighborhood after his Jeep crashed into a utility pole, a parked vehicle, a road sign and a home wall; witnesses reported he threw a bike during an altercation with a 62-year-old man who was injured—police said Campbell faces third-offense DUI and leaving the scene charges—and the investigation continues. - ➤ The Nebraska State Patrol arrested 20-year-old Lilyanna Romero-Hoffman on Sunday in north Lincoln after the South Sioux City Police Department reported 5-year-old Nicco Hoffman missing and he was later found safe when troopers stopped a vehicle west on I-80 at mile marker 403—she now faces charges for violating a custody order and theft by receiving stolen property. - ➤ Lincoln police arrested a 21-year-old man (Adonis Jones) on Friday evening for his role in a June 22 robbery at the south shore of Holmes Lake where two men were robbed at gunpoint, and he faces charges of robbery, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. - ➤ Lincoln man Arthonia Watkins was charged with arson after he reportedly tried to set his apartment ablaze and police said he attempted suicide following a shooting + he had lost his job, argued with his girlfriend, and faced car troubles. Lincoln Journal Star
