- ➤ Four people were hospitalized after a crash on I-80 near the Interstate 480 off ramp on Saturday night when a westbound Toyota Highlander hit debris and was struck by a Volvo semitrailer that lost control, hit a guardrail, and caught fire; the Highlander driver (55 years old) and three others were taken to Nebraska Medicine while the semitrailer driver remained uninjured. - ➤ Three people were hospitalized after a 2013 red Mazda M6 went off the road and wrapped around a light pole near 13th and Van Dorn streets early Sunday morning— the driver is in life‑threatening condition and two female passengers sustained minor injuries as police investigated the crash. - ➤ Police responded to a two-vehicle rollover crash in central Lincoln near North 12th and New Hampshire on Sunday at 5:07 p.m.—the driver of the overturned vehicle fled the scene and no injuries were reported. KOLN

- ➤ A young Cuban couple in Lincoln lost their job at Kawasaki on June 23 when their work permits were revoked after a federal humanitarian parole program for immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela and Nicaragua ended—over 500,000 people lost the right to work.
