- ➤ Three people were evacuated from a Lincoln home near 14th and Arapahoe when a fire started in a second-floor closet on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., and firefighters remain on scene as they search for two missing cats and assess damage. KOLN

- ➤ The Lincoln Airport Authority Board will check an air service agreement at a 9:00 a.m. meeting today for Breeze Airways, a low-cost carrier that will offer flights from Lincoln to Orlando starting on Dec. 10 (tickets begin at $79). Lincoln Journal Star
- ➤ The Lincoln Airport announced that Breeze Airways will launch a nonstop flight from Lincoln to Orlando on December 10th, scheduled to run twice a week—one-way tickets start at $79 under a promotional deal valid from July 29th to August 4th. KOLN
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Deputies of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office found 135 pounds of marijuana and 117 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms in a trailer outside Lincoln on Monday around 3:45 p.m. after stopping a semi that repeatedly drove on the shoulder along Interstate 80 near Mile Marker 396, and they arrested 30-year-old Gebremedhin Bereke (from Charlotte) who now faces multiple drug charges.
