- ➤ Gage County deputies are searching for the driver who fled a hit-and-run crash on Highway 4 east of Southwest 45th Road early Saturday when a pedestrian died — next of kin were notified. KNOP

- ➤ After Saturday’s storm, the City of Lincoln reminded residents to report trees blocking streets or sidewalks by calling the Lincoln Police Department non-emergency line and to notify the Community Forestry Section for tree damage between the curb and sidewalk. The notice explained that tree debris on private property must be taken to designated drop-off sites—while several park and aquatic facilities have adjusted hours or remain closed due to storm damage.
