- ➤ The Nebraska State Patrol and Lexington Police Department issued an Endangered Missing Advisory early Tuesday for Hispanic man Elmer Ramirez Rojas, who was last seen Monday driving to a job site in Hebron in his 2006 maroon Honda Ridgeline—authorities are searching central areas including Grand Island, North Platte, and Lincoln. - ➤ Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen announced Tuesday that the Work Ethic Camp in McCook will be used as a 300-bed detention facility for immigration proceedings, sparking protests at the state capitol and in McCook where local residents fear due process rights are being overlooked — legal advocates warn the plan targets immigrants who have built families. - ➤ The Nebraska Community Blood Bank declared a blood emergency as its supply falls below two days, and manager Kari Lundeen said only 3% of eligible donors give blood.
