- ➤ The Food Bank of Lincoln held its annual 'Dine Out to Help Out' event on Wednesday—10% of proceeds from local restaurants went to support those facing hunger in southeast Nebraska. CEO Michaela Kumke said the event during Hunger Action Month helped serve 16 counties in the region. KFOR

- ➤ The Coolest Thing Made in Nebraska contest narrowed its field to eight products—like Case IH’s AF series combine harvester and Tasty Toppings’ Dorothy Lynch salad dressing—as bracket-style voting began yesterday.
