- ➤ Lincoln Public Schools warned parents Tuesday about a viral social media trend where teens posted videos urinating on school property at a middle school, and said students involved will face disciplinary measures (legal action may follow as restroom protocols are adjusted if the trend continues). - ➤ Residents in Lincoln and Lancaster County can drop off waste at two drive-thru collection events later this month — the events will provide a convenient way to dispose of unwanted items. Lincoln Journal Star

- ➤ Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen directed $20 million from unused property tax relief funds and higher-than-expected casino revenue to be given to taxpayers—boosting the total tax credit pool to $77 million compared to last year. - ➤ Nebraska reported its first case of bird flu in a dairy cattle herd in central Nebraska on Monday—officials quarantined the herd after federal labs confirmed the strain resembles one found in California.
