- ➤ State climatologist Dr. Deborah Bathke will present her annual climate change report at a Lincoln church on October 16th, where she will describe how Nebraska is getting warmer & wetter. The report highlights recent regional trends in climate change. Lincoln Journal Star

- ➤ Postpartum Support International held its second Climb event at Wayne Park in Waverly on October 11 to raise awareness and support for mothers facing mental health challenges. - ➤ Nebraska beat the Terrapins 34-31 on Saturday, October 11 in College Park—where a close contest tested both teams—and freshman quarterback Malik Washington led the Huskers as they improved their season record. KOLN
- ➤ On Saturday, Nebraska football won a close road game against Maryland 34-31 with Emmett Johnson rushing for a career-high 176 yards—Dylan Raiola threw for 260 yards and Nyziah Hunter scored two touchdowns as the Huskers rallied late.
