- ➤ The Lincoln Airport announced on Tuesday that Breeze Airways will begin new service to Las Vegas and Orange County, California—set to start in April 2026. The routes will give local flyers more travel options. Lincoln Journal Star

- ➤ Morrill Hall—part of the University of Nebraska State Museum—now offers free Museums for All admission to guests who qualify for SNAP and WIC and serves as a drop-off site for Husker Pantry’s Winter Food Drive until Nov. 12. - ➤ Nebraska farm income will rise 42% in 2025 to $8.42 billion as higher livestock receipts and increased government payments offset lower crop receipts, a report from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and the University of Missouri shows. - ➤ Yesterday, Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird held a news conference at 2:30 p.m. with Lancaster County Commissioner Sean Flowerday and Food Bank of Lincoln COO Tiffany Murray to explain local steps to help families affected by the SNAP pause. Officials announced a new food resource map, a second lunch service at Victory Park, free youth dinners at the F Street Community Center, and $250,000 in emergency funding to support residents during the shutdown — efforts to ease the impact of halted federal food assistance.
