- ➤ Today Fredstrom Elementary in Lincoln hosted a parade for veterans as students and their family veterans walked through hallways holding signs and flags to show thanks — the event also featured a display of military vehicles provided by the Nebraska National Guard — marking a heartfelt tribute to service. - ➤ Chancellor Rodney Bennett released UNL’s final $27.5M budget reduction plan on Monday—after input from thousands—to cut four academic programs, reduce four colleges' budgets by $1.6M, and eliminate $2.95M in admin positions.
