- ➤ Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen signed a charter on November 12 that allowed Norfolk’s Telcoin to become the nation’s first digital asset bank—its stablecoins will be backed by federal bonds or FDIC-insured Nebraska banks to tie them to the U.S. dollar. KNOP

- ➤ Nebraska is in second place in the 'We Give Blood' competition and asks Husker students and fans to help win a $1 million prize by donating blood. Donations will be accepted at the Newman Center (corner of 16th and Q, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday) and at Memorial Stadium (8 a.m.–4 p.m. on Friday) with a raffle prize available for Friday donors. - ➤ In Lincoln, a 45-year-old man named Eleazar Oceguera committed suicide in the back of a police cruiser Sunday—underscoring the community’s growing mental health crisis. - ➤ A second healthy baby was surrendered to a safe haven location in northwest Nebraska on Saturday under the revised Safe Haven Law and is now in care with the Department of Health and Human Services—officials said no further details will be shared due to privacy rules. KOLN

- ➤ Nebraska running back Emmett Johnson hosted a public meet and greet on Wednesday night at the Marriott in downtown Lincoln where he signed autographs, took pictures, and chatted with Husker fans—drawing support ahead of his season.
