Midland Band - $5

About this event

️ $5 at the Door Time: Immediately after the Husker Football Game Join the Midland Band for a night of music immediately following the Husker Game at Lincoln's Legendary Zoo Bar! The Midland Band brings a high-energy, 70s-inspired sound built on fiery improvisation, big musical turns, danceable grooves, and serious musicianship. This is the kind of band that can move from tight, composed sections into wide-open jams without losing the crowd for a second. Their sound pulls from the adventurous side of classic rock, progressive rock, jazz-rock fusion, funk, and the live jam tradition, with influences that bring to mind The Grateful Dead, Frank Zappa, Yes, Steely Dan, Return to Forever, and other artists who were never afraid to stretch out and take chances.
