If you're still thinking about Saturday's 17-10 loss to Washington, so are the Huskers. Nebraska is 5-3 overall and 2-3 in the Big Ten, and it has lost three straight by a combined 10 points after building second-half leads.

Six of the 11 touchdowns Nebraska has allowed came in the fourth quarter

Offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen agreed the offense has been pressing. "I 100% agree with it," he said. Quarterback Anthony Colandrea, who threw three interceptions, said, "I didn't play good at all." Holgorsen is also moving to the press box for a "calm environment."

  • Next game: Friday at Illinois, also 5-3
  • Colandrea vs. Washington: 255 passing yards, three interceptions
  • Washington took its first lead with 1:30 left

Defensive coordinator Rob Aurich would do it again on the corner blitz call. He said Big Ten and SEC play over three years has had about 40 or 42 fourth-and-15-to-20 plays, with nine conversions, seven against soft zone.
